In this episode of Business in Poland podcast you will hear about the new E-invoicing system that will be mandatory in Poland from 1 of July next year. You can find the website with more info here. https://www.podatki.gov.pl/
Please notice that it is not in English so I recommend that you use Chrome so you can use Google translate in the browser.
Problems are expected with the E-invoicing system
Law firms in Poland already expect it will give a lot of problems for mainly Polish companies of course but it can also be a problem for non-Polish firms for example if they have a branch in Poland.
You can hear in the episode about what kind of problems that can be with the new E-invoicing system.
Much can still change
It is important to notice that much can still change before it will be mandatory but it is as mentioned already launched. I therefore recommend you to contact your accountant regarding the new changes so you are prepared because it can become very expensive not to follow the new law.
